Women’s Centres
The seven current women’s centres in Saxony-Anhalt are educational and meeting places for women and girls from all walks of life, but they have different focal points in each region.
We are committed to gender equality, cultural policy, women’s issues, holistic, feminist and intergenerational work.
We are educational and meeting places for the promotion of gender equality and the prevention of violence. The cultural and political education for women and girls serves the development of a conscious relationship to oneself, the social environment and one’s own biography.
Our services include:
- gender-specific, open and preventive programmes
- activating for self-help
- counselling and referral in all life situations
